The new Tender Aqvaboats are built in 5052 marine aluminum with a thickness of 2.5mm, treated in phosphate and acid to then be powder coated and put in the oven.
This makes them resistant to corrosion and salt water. Aluminum is a very light material and offers excellent resistance to weight ratio, it is approximately 35% lighter and more resistant than fibreglass. Thanks to their lightness, the Aqvaboats models offer excellent performance even with small displacement engines, significantly reducing fuel consumption. Being more resistant to impacts and corrosion, they last much longer. The Aqvaboats aluminum tenders, compared to the fiberglass ones they require much less maintenance.
